We are sorry to announce that we will not be using Remi for the sire of the Bickmore's litter. It was a mutual decision based on his elbow OFA results (grade I DJD). While this is very disappointing for us, it is a good example of why we have added to our health screening list and why it is so important for all Llewellin breeders to be doing these! Please insist any breeder you buy from does health test all their dogs! There are no completely healthy lines in this very small, very closely bred strain, no matter what a breeder may say.

As far as the Lady Bird breeding goes, her owners are currently looking for a replacement for Remi and will likely be breeding her for a Spring 2016 litter. We will continue to post information here about their upcoming litter as a courtesy to them and a resource for any puppy buyers. Please check back for updates on their plans.
