Horse For Sale We're helping family sell a gelding they purchased recently. They are asking $300 but that's really negotiable. Gunner is suitable for light riding but wouldn't mind being retired. They were told he was 20 years old by his previous owner, but he could be up to 30 years (in really good shape). He's 15 hh, good bone and feet. He trailers, hauls, and ties great and has good ground manners. He's not spooky but is alert and willing. He acts like he may be sore in his hindquarters/back. Although he was underweight when purchased, he has gained weight steadily since on alfalfa/grain. He's been used as a barrel, lesson, trail, & pleasure horse. I've (Chelsea) ridden him twice. IF he's to be used for riding at buyers and buyer's vet best judgement, he'll take some special consideration and possibly some training, and he'd do best with an intermediate w/instructor or advanced rider.
